D-Stroy may be the most outgoing figure in indie hip-hop,
but beneath his blustery, outsized persona lies an artist
whose passion for his craft is unassailable. With his
gift for verbal acrobatics matched by an uncanny ability
to twist rhyme and meter to his own devices, D-Stroys
unique voice and lyrical flow set him apart. [...]

shares his thoughts with you lucky readers
If this one dont get up, I give up on taking
part in these updates. Sup monkey people? IM great,
sore as hell, just got back from hosting a Burton Snowboard
event for the first time. It was intense. The mountains
were sick and the weather was dope. I busted my ass
so much that I wanted to beat up all the little 8 year
old kids that were showing off doing tricks. Yeah, I
called a couple of them punks but they went by so fast
they didnt hear me. I died laughing for hours
every time I fell. New single, Roll Out
12" out 5/22, the most important record cause its
the first of the D-Stroy/Pyrobot movement.
03/07/01 Solo debut
coming this spring
One of hip-hops most inventive MCs, D-Stroy,
formerly one fifth of the Arsonists, is about to drop
his solo debut 12" on Matador for release later this
spring. On the heels of his recent collaborations with
Zack De LaRocha and numerous solo appearances worldwide,
were certain this will be a hotly anticipated
single. Or it will be once you hear it.
08/14/00 D-Stroy:
The hardest working man in show business. This week,
anyway.
I, D-Stroy is working hard on putting the blue
print in effect. Ive spent more of the summer
in Europe then in NYC, but Im here now. I recently
went out there and did as much as possible. I hosted
and performed at many spots, opened up for DAngelo,
recorded with Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine
and recorded some solo joints. After the million meetings
Ive been having Im happy to announce that
its official. D-Stroy will be hitting everyone
that loves music in the noggin with more fire. Lets
get ready to rumble, party people! D-Stroy formerly
known as D-Stroy
(Management Note: The phrase Lets get ready
to rumble is a trademark held by ring announcer
Michael Buffer. The above use of that phrase does not
in any way constitute an endorsement by Mr. Buffer of
D-Stroy or his music. Thank you.) [...]
