Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart
When this was originally released, I couldn't get it on vinyl, so cd it was. Just recently I picked up the repress and am SO happy with it. No problem splashing out on a second copy of one of my top five albums of all time.

I'm kind of surprised that Epitaph are using them, given the number of plants in California, but I guess if you can find one in another country on the other side of the continent that has more than half its presses free, it means your Nick Cave and Neko Case LPs get released on their actual dates, not five months later.

Well it also doesn't hurt that F.A.B. have been Epitaph's Canadian distributor for a long long time. They've more than proven themselves as a quality distributor. I'd also say that Iain's persistance and stubbornness are probably the most alluring aspects of this plant.

Please do "Painful" next. If I see another re-pressing announced of a widely circulated album I'm going to explode

There are copies of that album everywhere.

Painful is on the list, but there are problems with missing elements that need to be recreated.

And? I couldn't get a vinyl copy in 1997. Reissue made for hassle-free re-purchase. What's your point?

I Can Hear The Heart 2LP reissue is really expensive, but it doesn't appear to be "The Eternal" level packaging etc. Is it because its a limited run?

It shouldn't be at Eternal level price point... about $8 less list.

It's expensive because it's on RTI HQ-180 vinyl.

I think I paid $26 for my copy, which in Euro terms is astonishingly good value for a package of that quality. It all feels and looks lovely - HQ-180 really fits for that album.

Godspeed Matador!
Sorry, I don't think this is correct. I'll check with our production staff.

Still just on the list guys, when things slow down here in the summer they may be able to get to it.
